｜A new type of cruise-style shuttle bus, a fresh transportation choice for exploring Alishan!

The Alishan Cruise Shuttle Bus departs from Chiayi High-Speed Rail Station/Train Station for the outbound journey, making stops at significant attractions around Alishan, including Eryanping Trail. Accompanied by bilingual guides, the bus introduces the unique features of each attraction, allowing tourists to explore the sights. After the scheduled stops, the bus continues to the next destination, ultimately arriving at Ali Mountain.

The return trip departs from Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, with stops at nearby attractions including Fenqihu and Chukou Visitor Center (Jhulu Tribal Park), and ends at Chiayi HSR Station or Chiayi Railway Station.(This product does not include the outbound trip and must be purchased separately.)

→Travel Tip:  The most convenient way to visit Alishan is the "Alishan Shuttle Bus," a new form of transportation that operates like a cruise ship, with scheduled stops for passengers.

Fenqihu, located in Zhonghe Village, Zhuqi Township, Chiayi County, is a mid-point stop on the way to Alishan and one of the stations along the Alishan Forest Railway. Known in the past for its nostalgic old street, railway bento, and square bamboo, Fenqihu gradually developed into a charming settlement filled with countless stories of the past. Many travelers stop here to rest, enjoy local delicacies, and shop for souvenirs—making it a must-visit spot on the journey to Alishan.

The legendary “Old Street's First Donut Shop” is said to be a must-try in Fenqihu. Made by professional bakers using Danish dough and hand-crafted techniques, these donuts are baked using a low-oil method instead of deep-frying. The result is a crispy yet fluffy texture with a rich milky aroma—not greasy at all and full of flavor.

The tour will also take you to the Fenqihu 912 Locomotive Garage, a county-designated historical site in Chiayi with over 100 years of history. Recently renovated with a NT$34 million investment, this space features Alishan-themed food and specialty selections from local brands. Combining local ingredients and railway café culture, it offers travelers a taste of regional identity and diverse travel routes.

｜Chukou Visitor Center (Tsou Tribe Culture – Jhulu Tribal Park)

The Chukou Visitor Center is an important transit point for travelers visiting Alishan. In addition to taking a rest here, you can also visit the nearby 'Tsou Veoveoana Cultural and Creative Park' to experience the unique culture and characteristics of the Tsou Indigenous Tribe. Veoveoana means 'deer hunting ground.' It is said that in the past, the Tsou people used to chase the Formosan sambar deer to this location for hunting. Although traditional hunting practices are no longer carried out, in order to allow visitors to experience the tribal culture, a deer park and archery range have been specially designed. If you want to immerse yourself in the tribal culture, get close to small animals, you must not miss this!

  • Please bring an ID card or health insurance card on the day of reservation to the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area - Tour Bus Turnaround Area (meeting point) where a team leader will verify your information before boarding.

｜Notes for Placing an Order

  • The payment must be completed one hour within the order has been placed. The system will automatically cancel the order after the payment due.
  • The system does not provide the function to modify the order, if you want to change the number of people, you need to return the ticket and reorder.
  • Refunds will not be accepted after any product has been redeemed and used.
  • For unused products, please go to "Member Center" → My Orders (Paid Orders) → Apply for Refund.

  • The Alishan shuttle operates on a fixed schedule and location. Please arrive on time at the designated boarding point; the shuttle cannot wait beyond the scheduled time and no refunds will be issued for missed departures.
  • The itinerary is for reference only and may be adjusted forward or backward depending on road conditions and the number of tourists on holidays. The actual departure/arrival times will depend on the traffic conditions on the day.

  • This product must be redeemed at the designated location on the day of the reservation.
  • This ticket type is for children aged 0-3 without a seat.
  • This plan addresses insurance requirements for passengers under the age of 3; otherwise, boarding is not permitted.
  • This product is a one-way return trip plan, and you can freely arrange to purchase separate tickets for the outbound and return trips. To purchase an outbound trip plan, please visit other product pages.
  • This product is a shuttle bus service and does not include tickets to attractions at each stop. (Tickets for certain stops need to be purchased for entry; they can be bought at the ticket counter on-site or by clicking the information bar above to learn more about online ticket promotions.)
  • Participants must complete registration and payment by 12:00 PM the day before the scheduled event.
    [Example] To reserve for January 2, 2025, registration and payment must be completed by 12:00 PM on January 1, 2025.
  • If the product is unused, a return request must be made 2 days prior to the scheduled date. If this period is exceeded, refunds will not be granted. Please consider this before purchasing.
    [Example] To cancel a reservation for November 3, 2025, the ticket return request must be completed by 11:59 PM on November 1, 2025, and the refund will be processed upon verification by the system company.
